ArtStudio - Draw and Paint App Reviews

Ive been using this app for so many years, I cant count them. Its always been such a great tool to use, and I love it so much. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately its been quite buggy lately. Often, even after saving my canvas, it will destroy it and not let me undo it. Like, Ill open a different app for a moment, and when I go back to this app, the entire thing is basically murdered. It is extremely distorted, basically appearing as a bunch of straight lines dripping down the canvas in the colours I was using. I cant hit undo, when I try to reload the project its still the same, and theres nothing I can do to return to my actual drawing. This has happened multiple times over the past 2 years, and its quite frustrating considering the amount of effort I put into my art. I simply do not have the time to put up with this. I cant afford to spent hours on a portrait, only for all my work to be literally wiped down the screen. The app is absolutely wonderful, but this bug has made insanely furious.

Ive been using this app for almost 4 years and its never done anything but impress me.

Im pretty amazed. Dont buy any other photoshop alternatives. Especially not photoshop for iPhone.

This app has been a great tool for years. Im very pleased to find high-end desktop-class photo editing features in a mobile product. The embedded user manual is very helpful since, unlike typical simplistic mobile apps, theres a lot of capability packed in here that sometimes requires some explanation. I rarely award five stars in a review but am here because its worked so well for so long.

After weeks of searching, finally found a good drawing/painting app for iPhone.

I love this app. Its really helpful and it has lots of helpful tools. BUT (Im about to be honest here) it has bugs. I can NOT import photos from my camera roll or the app crashes. When I select the app again it does the same exact thing. Ive tried everything and Im sick and tired of it. Especially since I paid for this app. And it wont do what even the lite version will do. I CANT listen to music while using the app. That is very irritating because I like listening to music while making art and sketching, and I am almost certain everyone here does too. Whenever I listen to music it crashes. If I ever do ANYTHING with this app that might make it interact with any other program or app on my product the APP CRASHES. I rated it one star because I hope you guys will fix it. Its really irritating to buy an app (that is REALLY helpful and wonderful) only to find that it crashes in the middle of anything. And when it crashes you lose all your progress. I love this app dont get me wrong, but Im very ticked off that I cant do anything with this app without it crashing. Please fix this.

Ive used many art/photo altering apps and programs over the years. This one isnt the best but at the same time I dont think there is a true winner out there. I prefer this one over any other to use on my phone.

Working with the layers is a snap and the art tools can be very accurate ! Would recommend to every one ! Just keeps getting better. My hats off to you for hard work at making art studio the best app on the market. And now with top camera. I dont use anything else.

This is my favorite art app by far and Ive had it for years. I like drawing on my phone way more than my computer so this is a great app. I have a suggestion though. A palette would be very useful to save colors and such to make it easier to transition quickly between colors.

I find ArtStudio an invaluable resource for Photoshopping on my iPhone 5. I do a lot of tweeting images at radio station programs for kicks, and this app is great for that - a mobile studio! It does tend to crash once in a while when you perform certain tasks that youve done with no problems before (save often!), but its pretty stable otherwise.

one the best easiest apps to create art, allowing you choose different formats to saved on and it allows you to saved your projects for a later time,it has lots of possibilities in altering your paintings is the best art app in the appstore.

I have no idea what went wrong. A few days ago this app was working beautifully. I had made such wonderful pictures! But then it started crashing. Not only would it lose my work and not have saved it. It would distort it! It would make my drawings into weird barcode looking things! This upsets me greatly! Ive restarted a piece over THREE times and its done the same thing! I still havent finished it! I have a deadline for this art, because art is how Im getting paid right now! So please fix this soon! Id really like to get back to making art again...

Great App! A Must have for every Visual Artist:- has all the necessary options to put references together relatively quick. Enjoy.....
